Compact Design for Tight Spaces
These sockets are shorter than our standard length impact sockets on u-joints, allowing access into tighter areas. One less connection point creates a stiffer joint reducing the loss of impact power.

30-Degree Working Angle
The joint rotates smoothly and continuously at up to a 30-degree angle.
6-Sided Pinless Joint
Our solid ball-and-socket-style joint is stronger than joints that use pins. The 6-sided ball operates more smoothly than 4-lug designs.
Parts and Assembly
The socket base and ball/socket are coated with a corrosion-resistant manganese phosphate finish.
The universal joint impact socket comes pre-lubricated with SuperLube Multi-Purpose Synthetic Grease (NLGI 2) with Syncolon® (PTFE). Maintain the lubrication using this grease or a comparable grease as needed to reduce wear over time.
6-Point Socket Opening
Provides an exact fit and maximum contact for hex fasteners.
Prevents Fastener Round-Off
Radiused corners prevent fastener round-off by applying force to a fastener’s flat sides, rather than its corners.
Two Size Markings
The size is marked in two ways on every socket—both as a high-visibility laser marking and a permanent stamped marking.
Drive Tool Retention
The universal joint works with both types of anvils found on 3/8 inch drive impact wrenches.
