The size numbers are deeply laser engraved with a textured finish to create a contrasted, easy-to-read marking. The engraving takes place before the socket is chrome-plated for added corrosion resistance.
Materials and Finish
The oxygen sensor socket is made from 50BV30 chromium-vanadium steel and hardened to 41-49 HRC for strength and durability. The socket is protected against corrosion with chrome plating on the outside and clear coat on the inside.
