The fixed box end has a flush side to maximize surface contact with a fastener as well as a raised side for finger clearance and to fit into recessed areas.

Ratcheting Flex Head

The ratcheting end reduces the need to re-engage the fastener repeatedly. The flex joint sweeps smoothly through 180 degrees without any set positions, allowing the wrench to access fasteners around obstacles.

Clear Markings

Tekton fixed/flex head ratcheting wrenches are permanently marked in two ways: a high-visibility laser marking and a stamped marking.

Materials and Finish

We make our fixed/flex ratcheting wrench bodies from 6140 chromium-vanadium steel and heat-treat them to 42–49 HRC. The wrenches are abrasive-blasted to create a finely textured finish and then plated with a trivalent chrome process.
