Quickly Remove Axle Nuts
Impact sockets are ideal for quickly and safely removing and replacing axle nuts. This set contains sockets for servicing 6-point axle nuts.
Two Size Markings
The size is marked in two ways on every socket—both as a high-visibility laser marking and a permanent stamped marking.
Deep Length for Greater Reach
- The deep length socket can reach into wells to access axle nuts without the use of an impact extension, which could reduce torque.
- The interior well extends far into the socket, providing ample room for the axle nut and spindle.
Drive Tool Retention
Sockets work for both types of anvils found on 1/2 inch drive impact wrenches:
6-Point Socket Opening
Provides an exact fit and maximum contact for hex fasteners.
Prevents Fastener Round-Off
Radiused corners prevent fastener round-off by applying force to a fastener’s flat sides, rather than its corners.
Sockets Exceed ANSI Torque Standards
Each socket size meets a minimum of 1.3 times the ANSI/ASME standard for proof torque.
(A single-cycle test applies torque until a specified value is reached without failure or permanent deformation.)
