Fulfillment Engineer
Department: Fulfillment
Direct supervisor: Fulfillment Center Manager
As a Fulfillment Engineer, you help us expand our fulfillment capabilities. This work optimizes Tekton’s current fulfillment processes and physical space, with new technologies to make the team more efficient.
Some specific role responsibilities:
- • Collaborate with the Fulfillment department to design and engineer solutions for constraints and seek opportunities for improvement
- • Design, create, and implement automation solutions ranging from simple processes to more complex scenarios
- • Support the launch of new processes by evaluating and preparing for new technologies, equipment, and suppliers
- • Measure the efficiency of processes and help improve ways to increase throughput

You need the ability to design fulfillment systems using CAD, production related programming languages, and fulfillment related systems.
Education and experience
- You do not need a specific degree or job history, but a background in engineering, manufacturing, fulfillment, or warehousing could be helpful. You must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Location and hours
- This is a full-time salaried position located in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
About the department
- The Fulfillment department creates warehouse systems and processes that allow all customer orders to ship efficiently and accurately. This includes picking and shipping customer orders, neatly packaging and assembling products, handling and organizing inventory, developing technology systems and automation, maintaining clean and safe workspaces, and continuously improving all aspects of our Fulfillment Center operations.
